One of the few remaining Elven realms in Middle-earth, Rivendell is tucked in a valley near the Misty Mountains. It has stood for ages as a haven for Elves, preserving the traditions and lore of this noble race. Its remote location and peaceful beauty have made it a destination for travelers seeking the counsel of its wise inhabitants. It is notable for the role it played in the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring.

Its secure position is now in danger due to its proximity to the wild, untamed lands of the North and the dark forces that are gathering there. Elrond, its leader and defender, must be bold in defending its boundaries or stand to lose it forever. He is calling on his powerful allies to help him protect his home and everything it symbolizes for all the Free Peoples of Middle-earth.
